⚡️ How to get going with your property search

Step One - Have a browse over our current listings!

To get going with your search, take a look at our current listings! You will always find our most up-to-date property listings via the Hybrid Real Estate Snug page! New properties are added weekly.

Step Two - Book some Inspections!

Once you find a listing you like, you can watch the virtual inspection, view the property photos, register for an upcoming inspection and get going on an application!

Step Three - Start your Snug profile & applications!

Once you have attended the inspection (or watched the virtual inspection) you can get going on your application. Our rental providers look out for the following things:

<aside> <img src="/icons/checklist_green.svg" alt="/icons/checklist_green.svg" width="40px" /> Minimum Application Requirements ✅ Minimum 2-year rental history (inside or outside of Australia)with an agent or private owner (excluding family members) ✅ Minimum 2 year employment history (inside or outside of Australia) ✅ 3 pay slips (most recent) ✅ Recent copy of your bank & savings statements (the document must include your full name & current balance and must not be a screenshot of a banking app) ✅ Valid identity documents - Passport, drivers licence etc (The application requires at least 100 points of identification)

✅ Other supporting documents (if needed)

• If you own/ed your own property: Proof of property ownership (Council Rates Notice)
• If self-employed: letter from accountant, financial statements, tax return, or other business documents
• Rental ledger from your previous property manager/rental provider. A rental ledger is a record of all rent payments made by a tenant over the course of their tenancy. ****It typically includes the date of each payment, the amount paid, and any late fees or other charges incurred.

Good To Know - Tips & Tricks!

• 🌍 If you have an overseas driving licence or passport you can add this in as a ‘Supporting Document’

• 🛬 If you have address history from overseas, you may have to pop in the country prior to adding the rest of your address & work backwards (sometimes Snug thinks the address is in AUS & struggles to find it)

Step Four - Apply for your favourite properties!

Once you have finished your first application, you can apply for as many properties as you like with the same application!

Step Five - Our team will review your applications and give you some feedback!

Our team will review your application and make sure it’s looking amazing prior to sending it to the rental provider - Make sure you follow the minimum requirements list above to speed things up!

Step Six - We will send your application off to the rental provider - And hopefully secure your favourite property! 🤞

Your application will be sent off to the rental provider’s for all properties you have applied for and hopefully we can secure one for you 🤩
